President Obama to America: "view those videos"

Last night, President Obama spoke to America about Syria and the use of chemical weapons. You can read the full text of his speech here.

There are many ironies about how one method of killing people creates more outrage for some people than other methods do, but let's put that aside for now.

President Obama urged America to view the videos of the attack. His exact words were:

"Indeed, I’d ask every member of Congress, and those of you watching at home tonight, to view those videos of the attack, and then ask: What kind of world will we live in if the United States of America sees a dictator brazenly violate international law with poison gas, and we choose to look the other way?" - President Obama, 9/10/13

Also interesting was the president's earlier graphic description of what is seen in those videos:

"The images from this massacre are sickening: Men, women, children lying in rows, killed by poison gas. Others foaming at the mouth, gasping for breath. A father clutching his dead children, imploring them to get up and walk. On that terrible night, the world saw in gruesome detail the terrible nature of chemical weapons, and why the overwhelming majority of humanity has declared them off-limits -- a crime against humanity, and a violation of the laws of war." - President Obama, 9/10/13

It causes me to wonder in common words with the president:

"What would happen if every member of Congress and those at home would view those ultrasound videos of abortions and then ask: What kind of world do we live in while we choose to look the other way?" - George Vogt IV, 9/11/13

Yes, they do exist.

I tell you America:

"The images from this massacre are sickening: children lying in garbage cans, killed by gruesome methods. Some foaming, gasping, clutching, becoming dead children, not just on one terrible night, but every terrible day. The world should see in gruesome detail the terrible nature of abortion. Then the overwhelming majority of humanity would declare them off-limits -- a crime against humanity." - George Vogt IV, 9/11/13
